Suzy Roberts Is a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 9 years of clinical experience. Suzy has a warm and empathic approach and is committed to building rapport with her clients and working collaboratively with them on their journey towards health and wholeness. Suzy uses an attachment-based model and incorporates psychodynamic as well as CBT, DBT and ACT modalities in her approach to therapy.

Education & Experience

Suzy holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. Suzy has enjoyed a rich and varied clinical background and has enjoyed working with adolescents and young adults at the Vanguard Counseling Center and Newport Institute. There Suzy was able to work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and questions surrounding gender and sexual identity. Suzy also had the pleasure of working with older adults in a Partial Hospitalization setting, helping them through issues such as grief, loss and managing life transitions.
