Board Certified Clinical Health Psychologist
Dr. Allison Bicksler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Health Psychology and the Chair of Clinical Health Psychology at Orange County Health Psychologists in Irvine, California. At OCHP, Dr. Bicksler leverages relationships between patients, providers, and institutions to find innovative solutions to complex mental health and medical problems. Despite groundbreaking developments in science and technology, there is much that remains unknown about our minds and bodies.
Dr. Bicksler focuses on the whole person in context rather than the condition in isolation. She believes treatment must be meaningful to patients and grounded in scientific evidence. An engaged and invested clinician, Dr. Bicksler challenges her patients to grow and supports them with kindness and humor. Dr. Bicksler provides assessment/evaluation and psychotherapy for older adolescents, adults, and seniors.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bicksler presents at conferences and provides educational seminars for both professionals and laypersons. These include local, state, and national organizations, hospitals, nonprofits, and psychologist, physician, and allied professional groups. Multidisciplinary consultation and postdoctoral supervision are valued parts of her work.
