Meditation can be as simple as focusing in the present moment. Think of it this way – if depression is sadness about the past and anxiety is fear about the future, you should feel the absence of anxiety and depression if you are solely focused in the present moment. As you do so, look at the beauty of the nature around you, focus on the feeling of the sun on your skin, take a few nice deep breaths... this is meditation in its simplest form.
