Andre Jizmejian, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Andre Jizmejian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings compassion, curiosity, and collaboration into the therapeutic space. He believes each patient enters therapy with a unique history and set of challenges, and he values creating a personalized approach that honors the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses.
Andre’s therapeutic style is warm, thoughtful, direct, and person-centered. He strives to create a safe and respectful environment where patients can better understand themselves, explore the patterns shaping their lives, and work toward meaningful change. He views therapy as a space for mental and emotional caretaking, where self-awareness, reflection, healing, and growth can develop over time.
Drawing from Existential therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), and humanistic and psychodynamic approaches, Andre helps patients examine both the practical and deeper emotional layers of their experiences. His work often focuses on helping patients better understand their thoughts, emotions, relationships, identity, and choices while developing concrete tools to manage distress, strengthen communication, and improve daily functioning.
Andre has experience supporting patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relational stress, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, and emotional distress connected to medical, occupational, family, or cultural concerns. He works with individuals, couples, and families. Andre believes therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, goal-oriented, culturally responsive, and grounded in each patient’s own values and lived experience. In addition to providing services in English, he is also conversational in Armenian. Andre considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients in their healing process and is committed to helping each person move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and meaningful.
