Jasmin Budhai, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Jasmin Budhai is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a warm and collaborative approach to working with clients. Whether you are navigating daily stressors, adjusting to a recent life change, struggling with self-esteem, seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, or simply looking for a safe space to process difficult emotions, Jasmin offers a supportive and calming presence. She works to create an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.
Jasmin takes a person-centered and humanistic approach to therapy, recognizing that every client brings their own unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals into the therapeutic space. She incorporates active listening, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and a wide variety of other evidence-based techniques to help clients better understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and work toward meaningful personal growth. Her goal is to provide compassionate support to her clients as they navigate challenges and build greater confidence in themselves.
Jasmin is particularly passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults. She draws on her experience with play therapy when working with younger clients, creating developmentally appropriate opportunities for children to process emotions, explore their experiences, and build emotional regulation skills. She also enjoys working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, and other challenges that can arise during these important stages of development. Across all ages, Jasmin strives to build genuine therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and respect, providing a safe space for exploration, healing, and growth.
