Nicole Barbeau, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Nicole Barbeau is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who believes everyone should confidently hold the pen that writes the story of their life. Nicole understands that many of us were not taught the skills to respond to life’s challenges in an honest, assertive and healthy way. As a result, our stories are often told through the lens of events, traumatic experiences, or the people who surround us. Nicole enjoys using therapy to help empower each individual, couple, or family to take charge of their unique story.

Education & Experience

Nicole holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of California, Irvine. She gained experience in outpatient mental health through a busy Los Angeles Department of Mental Health facility and has special training and certification in Crisis Oriented Recovery Services (CORS), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety, and trauma. Nicole works with a wide array of clientele including adolescents (12+), teens, adults, couples, and families.
