Rosette Lee, PsyD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Rosette Lee is a dually-licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage & Family Therapist.  Dr. Lee believes that therapy is a calling to support individuals and families in their journey towards healing and wellness. She offers an extensive array of resources to meet the specific challenges, needs and goals of each client. 

While Dr. Lee has concentrated expertise in infant and early childhood mental health, trauma, and attachment, she also integrates these concepts into her work with individuals of all ages. Through the use of a psychodynamic, attachment-based framework, Dr. Lee offers extensive tools and resources to support individuals across the life-span, including youth, adolescents, adults, and older adults. 

Having grown up in the United States as a child of 1st-generation immigrant parents from South Korea, Dr. Lee understands the unique challenges of navigating bi-cultural, multi-generational differences.

 

Education & Experience

Dr. Lee obtained a Doctoral degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. Dr. Lee completed her pre-doctoral internship at UT Health - San Antonio and Clarity Child Guidance Clinic in Texas, and her post-doctoral fellowship at CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange County where she specialized in pediatric eating disorders and medical stabilization.

Over the years, Dr. Lee gained experience in numerous empirically-validated practices including Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Reflective Parenting, and Infant Massage. Dr. Lee is endorsed as an Infant, Family, and Early Childhood mental health specialist (IFECMH-SP) by the state of California, and is also certified as an Infant-Early Childhood Mental Health consultant. 

Additional areas of experience include: substance use, trauma, mental health consultation, psychodevelopmental assessment, and dyadic/family therapy. Her professional expertise includes a wide array of settings and specialties, including  providing 24/7 wraparound non-traditional mental health services for a county-funded agency (Children's Institute) and supervision and training of other therapists.

In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys the beach, California sunshine, her two dogs, baking for other people, spending time with friends and family, and expanding her repertoire of good coffee shops and eateries.
