Jamie is a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 7 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings, including community services, non-profit organizations, and private schools. She is committed to creating an empathetic and warm rapport with her clients to empower them to achieve their holistic well-being. She believes in discovering clients’ strengths and insights collaboratively to overcome and manage life’s challenges. Connection is her focus of therapy where she helps clients reconnect to their interpersonal and intrapersonal needs. She uses attachment-based model and incorporates CBT as well as psychodynamic in her approach to therapy. Jamie is now accepting adults, couples, teens, adolescent, and children (7+) and offers both in person and Telehealth therapy.
Education & Experience
Jamie has a Master of Art degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She has over 20 years of volunteer experience working in non-profit settings which has shaped her to be a caring and compassionate person to treat people as unique individuals instead of pathologizing them. Having lived in different counties in the past has prepared her to relate to individual’s cultural struggles and relational tensions to help them feel cared for and seen. She enjoys working with different populations and is passionate to help clients find healing and hope through the therapy journey together.
Jamie has been married to her husband for sixteen years and has one child. Spending time with family brings her the most joy.
