Jenyffer Peterson, PsyD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Peterson is a licensed psychologist with two decades of experience helping people move out of their deepest pain, depression, and anxiety, and into healthier, happier lives. She understands what it is like to be deeply saddened and confused – even paralyzed – by the most terrible losses and life experiences. Her goal is to walk with her clients to guide them to a place where they can grow from their pain and discover a renewed sense of joy and purpose in life.

Education & Experience

Dr. Peterson received her doctorate degree from Ryokan College about a decade ago. She started her career in mental health before earning her doctorate when she worked as a drug and pain management counselor. Dr. Peterson now works as a health psychologist and crisis intervention specialist trained in grief & bereavement. She also enjoys working with older adults and is specialized in Geropsychology.

Dr. Peterson’s therapeutic approach is one of compassion, authenticity, and connection. With that foundation, Dr. Peterson helps her clients through their pain one day at a time. She strives to help her clients create more love, compassion, and happiness in their life.
